Scholarships for Oklahoma Students

The Crossover Scholarship Fund is here to make a difference in the lives of students and families. We offer scholarships to 6th- 12th-grade students, giving them the opportunity to attend Crossover Preparatory Academy—a place where their potential can truly flourish. Once a student qualifies for a scholarship, they, along with their siblings, remain eligible all the way through high school graduation or until they turn 21.

To qualify, here’s what you need to know:

Students must be U.S. legal residents, live in Oklahoma, and be accepted by Crossover Prep, an accredited Oklahoma private school, for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students need to meet at least ONE of these criteria:

  • Be part of a family meeting the Adjusted Gross Income guidelines.
  • Live in or attend a public school designated as “in need of improvement” by the State Board of Education.
  • Have attended an Oklahoma public school with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Our mission is to open doors for students who dream big and deserve access to quality education. Together, we’re building brighter futures!

Benefits for Oklahoma Donors

Back in 2011, the Oklahoma legislature introduced some really generous tax credits for anyone donating to Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) like the Crossover Scholarship Fund. These organizations are nonprofits dedicated to helping students by spending at least 90% of their funds raised on private school scholarships.

Here’s how it works: Every donor qualifies for a 50% tax credit on the amount they donate each year. Starting January 1, 2016, it got even better—if you make a written pledge to donate the same amount over two years, you’ll get a 75% tax credit for both years. And don’t worry, all donations come with a written receipt for your records.

Now, there are some caps to keep in mind. Tax credits max out at $1,000 for individual donors, $2,000 for joint filers, and $100,000 for businesses. However, if you’re donating through a “pass-through” business, like a partnership, Subchapter S corporation, or an LLC where business activity is reported on your personal taxes, those individual and joint limits don’t apply.

Whether you give a little or a lot, every contribution helps create more opportunities for students—and you get to enjoy some pretty great tax benefits, too!
